Your Gusting Presence

Darling,
if it wasn't against my religion to compare you to God,
I'd say your occurrence is divine; circulating my being
Similar to how the Holy Spirit moves an altar full of sinners

Understand, you grace me with your gusting presence
like wind amongst swaying branches and droopy leaves
Even wilting petals resume their positions
when your breath anoints the brisk air

When some see invisible movement outside their window,
I see the deliverance of my ubiquitous lover
fulfilling his promise of never fleeing or forsaking me

When the breeze separates my strands of hair
I will feel the covenant you have made with me-
you'll always be there despite what we may weather
Before you, sulfurous days once blistered my world
Now I'm forever blessed with your guardian existence

    Ooooohhhhhh my.....

    I adore poems about love and this is one of my all time favourites, as always the emotion, imagery and flow is just out standing....
