Rejected by the Light.

Hidden inside darkness
I have nowhere to run
Covered in black
Restricted from the sun
I try to escape it
Though I always fail
I try so desperately
But it always prevails
Why does the light reject me?
Have I done something wrong?
Or does it just detest me?
Or is it just where I don't belong?
I look up to the dark gray sky
And ask myself
Could I ever touch the light?
