The Traveler

by Jawwad Zafar   May 21, 2012

I'm a traveler, just a man
easily recognisable, darkest tan
Making new mates, Is my passion
have friends, In every nation

People accompany me on my travel
when they leave, left me unravel
It's really hard, uttering goodbye
Oh god! I miss those eyes

For every wonder, that I may found
mesmerised by beauty, hits the ground
Impossbile it is, but have to leave
unknown marvels, yet to receive

To travel my friend, It's not easy
world is corrupt, over sleazy
Caring only, for money and powers
Their gardens full of rotten flowers

I'm a mortal, will turn old
On my death bed, feeling cold
leaving memories, as my attorney
That will be the end, the end of journey.

Nice piece,. I like the smoothness of the flow and I love the scheme or the message of the poem it was clearly stated and conveyed some lessons about life. The one thing is to capitalize the "I" because it ruining your piece. Nonetheless, I enjoy your poem. Good work:)
