Satisfaction For The Soul

Is it true
Love is rare
and only comes once

Because...
I remember
I had something true,
something real

It was somehow lost,
I think I ruined it
but through the chaos
It is, he is
my fondest memory

He is engraved in my heart,
like your first would be.

I tried to fix it once
but the connection was broke

I wonder, will I find it again
will I grasp what my dreams yearn

I hope I didn't miss the chance of a lifetime
I hope I didn't miss life's greatest gift

But perhaps
the memory is enough
but I don't feel whole

I have waited for Love
to come to me
to find me

Because it's impossible
to search for something
that can't be found

It's somewhat earned
but only when given the chance
because if your meant to be together
it will happen

I wonder

How long do I have to wait
for my turn?

    When you asked that, I do think truee love is ... you know what I mean...? and I just think that this poem is so touching, sentimental and personal and a bit sad! Of course, you're always going to love your first love...
    I know I still do..

    and I hope the wait isn't forever, hon!
    I believe there will come a day when you'll feel whole AND happy again
    and you won't have these questions anymore :3
