Hard fall

I fell for you years ago,
the fall was hard when you let go.
These things happen all the time,
but not to me it didn't feel fine.
I picked up myself and carried on,
knowing that you were gone.
And muddled through with my life,
wishing you had been my wife.
Now twenty eight years on,
the girl who left me for no one.
Is once more back here with me,
after living a life of unpleasantry.
That is all going to change,
we have plans to arrange.
And mistakes made in the past,
cannot be changed they are fast.
We can only try our best,
i won't listen to the rest.
Its my life and your now with me,
but this time permanently
