On ageing

by patrick   May 29, 2012

I am nearly an old person!
Stuck here in no man's land
"Fossil" to the youth
Youngster to the aged

I can only survive according to my merit
Passed glories are worth nothing
Today it all begins anew
The rules of yester year all stand upon their collective heads

However all the elements of my youth are still safe within me
Humanity,compassion and dignity
love and family
This be my joy, my hope, my reason to be

There be only one race on this earth
The "human race"
Beliefs from a bygone time
This old fashion hippy still has some moves left in him

Earth Bound by nature
Shackled by scepticism, of all that is supernatural
Living in a land were the rules are all turned about
like the negative of a photo, same picture back to front

Black discrimination has taken over from white discrimination
Racism still stinks the same foul way
White ground becomes black ground
White business becomes black business

No jobs, white males
No further education white males all bursaries denied
Black empowerment "statue" book stuff
When will they ever learn? Racism sucks
It does not work, ask Hitler ask all along histories failed pages

discrimination breeds hate
Short term gains are nearly always lost
Righting wrongs without apply the rule of merit
big mistake
