People of the world
I have something to tell
No, it's not a political rant
Or an advertisement for something I sell

I want to talk about a very special girl
She is so smart, charming and graceful
Just the way she moves, dances and twirls
Makes my face look cheerful

She consumes my thoughts and mind
Makes me daydream even through the night
Makes me want to leave everyone and everything behind
She's my pink glasses and I just lost all my sight

My heart is pounding
Right out of my chest
Whenever I think of her
Really, it's astounding

How she makes me feel
But one thing needs to be said
One thing I should mention
We haven't even met

    This is awesome! the twist at the end makes the whole poem! at first i was like yeah he's going to announce it at the end that he loves her... totally shocked me. 5/5

    Thomas, this is one of the best love poems
    I have read in awhile. I did like the flow
    well rhyming not to mention the twist at

    Thomas i like this alot, these types of pieces can either be hammered out or flow out and this one flowed...really well...love the twist at the end ...you pull the reader right in with this one dude well done! 5/5
