Mother's Words

by Thomas   Apr 10, 2013

The way to survive
is breathing.
The option you take
is leaving.
The shared memories
you're keeping.
The last salvage
is sleeping.

What am I to do
when you're in pain?
When there is no sun
and only rain?
Know that our hearts
bleed simultaneously.
Know that deep down
you're still my baby.

The thing to avoid
is hating.
The future is
slowly shaping.
Try to blossom
like spring trees.
Trust me my love,
women are for crazies.

The thing to avoid is hating, so true.

And those are really good words, I like the rhyming but I actually enjoyed more the part about blossom like a spring tree.
