Wicked Witch

by Thomas   Jun 3, 2012

Wicked witch
Your spell is over
You no longer reign
Over my kingdom

Sitting on your broom
You got shot down
No longer your terror
Raining from the sky

It took me a while
To throw of this curse
To get my mind straight
And my thoughts in line

No more desire
No more regret
No more procrastinating
About what's been said

Now life is good
In my world
Never happy land became
Some day happy land

To end this
I just want to say
Just like our pictures
You will burn at the stake

Wow, Thomas. I can feel the resentment you have for this person. Kind of makes me a little bit scared for them :)

Like I said, I can feel the resentment. It is coming off you in waves, or at least it was when you were writing this poem. It seemed like you were hurt repeatedly and finally just ended the relationship. If that was the case, then good for you :)

I have to say the part that hit me the most would be the last stanza:

    "To end this
    I just want to say
    Just like our pictures
You will burn at the stake"

Kind of gave me chills when I read that last line. Hopefully, this will not be like the Salem Witch Trials.

Excellent job at expressing your anger
