Obtuse (Prelude To This Burning Church)

A story
Its crazy today see, inside me, never should be-
disagree, forgive me, unforeseen, unfather me.
remember me, in time we'll be eternity.
lately I've been a little depressed,
my body goes numb, from the shakes of lungs,
From the pit of my chest, just wish me the best.
Never would have guessed, in my Sunday's best,
born un-blessed, a tragic test, now my sins I've confessed.
I fear I lost my smile, now that my soul is on trial.
Paid the price of denial, everything I defiled.
hope I did it in style?

Every sin I commit,
together in every hit,
the fires unlit.
This is my last breath
The negative shit,
I have to admit,
my body submits.
Betrayal now, my death

obstruct the impure
and obtuse abuse
obscure the unsure
introducing the recluse
I'm sorry I wasted my breath

the voice I hear is crystal clear
all knowing engineer
thanatos and fear
not shedding a tear
Please carry me into my death

Its my right that tonight, I wash away my sins
without a fight, guided by the light, another story begins.

I do love the intensity within this poem... the rhythmic and creative rhyme pattern you have chosen was a very nice added touch to this poem... the message is one i can relate too.. when a person is depressed, that is when the mind creates and explosive and over whelming desire to create powerful poetry... this was an awesome piece by you... well done :-)
