Love the magic

by Rebirth   Jun 8, 2012

Everyone wants the magic
we all want a spice of magic
we hope, we want, we search, we beg for it
we create formulas and theories to find it
we get frustrated, yet we don't give up on the search
a rat race we find ourself in
each step a different turn
too lost to realise loss
like a gardener who's found a trace of diamond in the soil,
we dig deeper, only to pull out non-degradable plastic
hands stained with earth, and rinsed with sweat and blood
oh how filthy we get
for a magic going foul
we seek peace, we settle for less
but the longing still burning, gets us sleep walking
each unconscious step, just as screwed up as the previous conscious steps
but it really doesn't take that much to find the magic
except all of your heart, and non of your head.

Like you said magic is in your heart not your head. Which i think your trying to say that true magic is love and love alone. Not the fake simulated stuff science tries to recreate. I love the details> I truly liked this poem
