Rain Meter

by Freeze Tyler   Jun 23, 2012

Pitter patters on the roof like chitter chatters
That say statements regarding how nothing matters.
Rain washes away the sunlight anyway
So why behave like you don't get a little wet?
Why live life without a regret
When it's best to regret the bad decisions
Before you forget their impact.
Each drop should be a constant reminder
Not a blinder to the light,
But a tap on your shoulder to remember the past.
You see, it's not an impact unless it lasts
So don't lash out against rational regrets.
Take the good out of the bad
And learn from your mistakes.
Step outside and get a little wet
And let your feet sink into the mud it makes.
Because you need a foundation in order to build,
So take out your rain meter and let it fill.
