You may not know
What you're putting me through every day
Anxiously waiting
What your next text message is going to say

I hope you mean
the words you type
Cause if you don't
then you're not my type

If those words
turn out to be lies
I am convinced
that a part of me dies

Cause I care so much
About something that is yet to be
But the hope I have is strong
Cause I really believe in you and me

    This reminds me of the days where I was going out with a guy and then anxiously waiting for his text messages and wondering what they would say and if they mean what they said.

    Oh I could relate to this piece.
