Things Will Be Okay

If I could buy a magic wand
to wish your pain away,
to get rid of your troubles
and bring happiness your way.

If I could cure anxiety
and make you worry free,
give you all the hope
that you have given me.

If I could make you happy
and never see you sad,
I would give up everything
that I ever had.

I cannot find this magic wand
to take away your pain,
but I'll be here to remind you
that things will be okay again.

I will always be beside you
even when we are apart
and I will always love you
from the bottom of my heart.

    It's simple wording and truthful feelings that can make a poem reach people. I enjoyed this one. Sometimes, we may want to take away pain and help someone out but it's not up to us, but rather just reminding them that we are there is what counts. A favorite.

    This is a very sweet, uplifting poem for a friend/family member. Letting them know that you will do everything in your power to be there for them just as they were for you. :)
