Membrane Mechanics

The spark from my mind lights the bulbs in my brain, thoughts come alive flowing though my veins
I see life like a mirror in every place that I go, realizing the change is that people just don't
They set a standard for our life your either choose or you lose, wondering why we kill, hate, and steal from each other
When a heart dies usually your soul goes to heaven, in some cases you live just like the rest of us
My mom told me if you throw a punch mean it, don't hold your hand back
So I've never raised a fist without a conscience
They say love is in the heart so why when i cut it open, nothings there but blood, pain, and held in vengeance
The clouds move to my mood so when it rains I know I'm sad, God never cries it can't be a miracle
My passion dies more times than life could recycle, so if i die i know the next life wont change
When the pain cuts deep like poison in my skin, you start to reconsider the last moments you get
What we get from this life is a gift, it's a privilege, and nothing good in life will ever last forever...
