Push and Shove; Trapped Inside

by XxxWordsOfWisdomxxX   Jul 15, 2012

{I am quietly catering to
your taunting kisses: I am
addicted still to the smile
behind the mirror ~ You're
intoxicating, whispering your
devilish wishes: And I am
stuck listening to a single
unwept tear}
***
I can see another existence
pulsing in your eyes: Surrounded
by a saddening, suffocating
haze ~ When I touch your skin
you reveal your lies: Your fear
of forever wandering in this maze
****
Why wouldn't you let a single
word slip: Your craving of perfection
could cost you friendship and love ~
How badly you want to scream,
but bit your lip: Constantly
reminding yourself that this is
a game of push and shove
