The Road Less Travled

by Kylead   Jul 23, 2012

This lingering road less traveled naws at me its all always there in the side of my brain.
Its dark and cold there but also warm in its calling and its gravity that pulls at me.
This road is one that leads no where just round and round.
In circles its almost as if the road spins
Its almost peaceful there because of the simplicity of never changing and always just turning and turning and never moving forward.
Never even having to once think why I am I moving forward
The road is bricked with hollow stones showing memories and sometimes faces and even paths unknown
this road is so very easy to follow around
This road bricked with quite memories is also laid and cemented with happiness and greater sadness
depending on what you choose
If you look deep enough in the cracks you can see almost swirls like unlighted memories of pasts forgotten
It almost takes you back before continuing down this winding path
On this path for some, street lights hang over head to light the way
for others the path is dark and uncertain
Once on the path its hard to come back
For most its simply smiles and warmth that bring people back
for others they endlessly walk the path
Till there messengers come and take them back.
On this path less traveled with the soft glow of street lights over head I wait for my messenger to come take me off this path.
This this hollowed road I travel.

Sincerely
Kyle After Death
