Lucid Twilight of Simplicity

by Maple Tree   Jul 30, 2012

It became clear to me,
as a crystal tear drop fell,
that I was created to love you.

Upon a twilight dancing,
you captured a melody
within my captured soul.

Feeling like a lost trinket,
you gave me reasons
to laugh and smile.

A poetic display comes
natural to me, when
writing about you.

I can whisper a thousand words,
hint them with syllabic elegance,
but why should a lady coat feelings
with extravagance, when
simplicity is far more lucid,
as an evening sky.

    I love this poem,

I do agree why sugar coat a poem with words for your love one, when simplicity will have the same effect as long as you have written it with love.
