Moment of clarity

Such strong emotion is addicting>
As I cease to exist in present time, the clock stops for no man, but yet here mine stands...still either stopped or at pace like a snail, to compliment my moment of clarity
It is either where Life stops or where it begins, words for the soul can never hurt
But instead remedy and heal old scars, replace with new skin
Thicker if u will, stronger, smarter, reborn out of a low being
Are we awake. Or merely stuck, transfixed to goals,
Impossible as they seem, we battle on, with Hope as our fuel
Let us ignite what we once were, And from the light it creates
Let us find our way, a way to continue, a way to appreciate
As I stand in the middle of this crowd, but yet not in a crowd at all
I shall accept..No I shall demand, and set my rules
The highest snowiest mountain, Cannot defy my moment of clarity
If indeed it has begun, I want to reach up and touch the sky
For only then will the torment be worth it
For many have fallen victim to matters of the heart
Yet we are ready to self-inflict yet another wound with the new
My brothers and sisters, have we once again become what we once were
Or have we not changed at all but cleverly cloaked
Fear of the unknown is greater than the concept of fear itself
You fight the unknown by creating beauty instead of darkness
Love instead of Hate, Knowledge in place of Ignorance
If this is the moment of clarity I sought after, Then
I choose to embrace it, nuture it, and appreciate life.

Ignorance, is the root of fear. Knowledge is the key to freedom. Watching out, is cheaper than blame. The more you know, the less you fear. Higher we go, clearer it comes.
