Betrayal

I was beaten black and blue,
sometimes purple and yellow too.
I was raped so many nights
could never win his violent fights.

I was punched and kicked around,
dragged and thrown across the ground.
I was imprisoned to never be found,
held under water where I mentally drowned.

I've been drugged and left to cry,
I've been gang raped and left to die,
I've lost my baby that I never met,
And that is an ache I will never forget.

I've scratched and burned and cut my skin,
I've gave up, shut up and let them win.
Let them abuse me and put me on show,
Waiting patiently for their permission to go.

But for all the blood, the scars and tears,
of all the pain from those dark years,
from all the torture that I endured
It is from your betrayal I can't be cured.

    I admire the woman you are today, you are a true example of the saying that what doesnt kill you makes you stronger! You have gone through a lot, you have lost a lot but you chose to stay strong rather than surrender to weakness.

    Wow, this is heartbreaking to read.
    The agony you had to endure and the betrayal by soneone close to you.
    It can be very very painful and overwhelming but it also teaches us a lesson
    and it will us so much stronger.
    You are extremely strong, never doubt
    that for one minute. Give yourself credit
    for that. Never let anybody or anything
    defeat you.

    You have been through a lot, yet you are here standing strong, that's admirable. Though, it is sad that this person betrayed you, and even more saddening knowing that this person is someone really important to you because after being through a lot, the betrayal from this someone is much hurtful than the rest. But keep being as strong or much more stronger than what you have been, I don't know how things happened, but I think it's best to have found out about the betrayal than to not know.

    Structure wise: I like how you can rhyme with so much ease, and how your pieces always flow with emotion despite being constraint by the rhymes.

    Also there is a little typo on this line:

    "I was pucnhed and kicked around," Correction: Punched..instead of Pucnhed.

    Aside from that little typo, you are a great writer. Stay strong.
