Secret Love

by Karin Erlacher   Aug 10, 2012

What will we gain
In the end,
For all the secrets,
All the twists and bends?

We can push.
We can fight
To hold each other
Through the night,

But we both know,
With some time,
We'll lose this.
You won't be mine.

It's heartbreak
Waiting to unfold,
Hidden in memories,
Never to be told.
