I Feel Alive

Squealing in delight
At the reemergence of me
It was an emergency
I was losing my mind
Brain fog all the time
Struggling to breathe
Getting lost in the fight
Challenging the nights
Constantly craving deep sleep
But sleeping felt like cheating
Like giving in, a crime
Disrupting my 9-5 paradigm
Yet, here I am, elated
My mind is crystal clear
It's that time of year
I want to be outside
Soaking up that sunshine
Give me more of that Vitamin D
Shoulders no longer weighted
Finally feeling motivated
I won't shed any more tears
Kicking my ass in high gear
My dreams are magnified
I feel alive
