Help me breathe again

by *NiCoLe*   Aug 14, 2012

If I did it tonight would anyone notice
Would my absence of presence make a difference?
In my eyes it wouldn't
Not a soul will give a damn of my absence

I'm always in the way
As I search for a better day
Something or someone to help
Help me breathe again

Simply ask me what is wrong
Be concerned instead of strong
However, I exist only as a ghost
My presence is invisible

As I search for something, anything
To give me strength and let me sing
Sing these words left unspoken
And help me breathe again

The fight is over, I'm out of strength
I am far too tired to run the length
Length of this race which has no end
So I continue to run until I drop

As I do it tonight I hope to win
But god forgive me for this sin
My strength is weakened far too much
As I began to realize I cannot breathe again

What brings you pain, makes you stronger. There's always one out there, who cares.
