Old Virgin of Love

by Owner of an Untamed Heart   Aug 22, 2012

Temporarily broken,
Shriveled up inside is what they call a heart,
They say it beats for love, and kindness
From butterflies in the stomach because of a spark
But since you've left,
There's been a black hole in its place,
I fell for deception and betrayal
All wrapped up with a beautiful face

And I lost myself without a trace

You wanted to leave but now that you're gone,
Saying that you never mattered feels all so wrong
You said you needed me,
And when I willingly gave you my heart,
You dropped it and left me in the dark

This is the first and worst pain I've ever felt,
I've been trying to cope,
And fill up every bit of hope
But I feel so sorry for myself,
Who told you to let me leap into your arms
If you had intention to catch me,
I used to be happy
But tears became my best friend of all,

All because I let down my wall

You left me without an apology
And with what they call a sincere heartbreak,
This is too much that a virgin of love can take

You were my first time and my last,
Too scared to love again because of the past
If this how it's gonna be,
Every time my heart beats for someone
Then I quit; I'm already done
