As you Are

by Charlene Riner   Aug 27, 2012

Can she love you like I do,
Will her heart be faithful and true?
Has she accepted you as you are,
Treating you rightful and fair.
Does she support you in all you do,
Even when you don't think things through?
Are you the only one her heart yearns for,
The one she loves and always will adore?
Don't let yourself be her second best,
Be placed on back burners like the rest.
I am the one who for you bears true love,
When another walks in, to the back I won't shove.
I accept you regardless of your past,
I promise a heart full of love that will last.
If that's not what you want feel free to leave,
You will be back soon I believe.
Your eyes will open and you will see what's true,
No one can love you like I do.
