My Neighbour's Cat

by Ransford Rowe   Aug 29, 2012

An affectionate fur ball is my neigbour's cat.
He looks like a carpet with paws.
Even though he is getting on a bit,
He still moves like a hairy cannon ball,
At the first sign of any danger.
When he sees me or hears the gate,
He comes a running,to wish me a fond hello.
Circling my legs he tries to get my attention.
I always have time to give him a stroke.
He really seems to like it,
When I tickle him under the shin and give him a stroke.
When I open the front door,
In he strolls as bold as brass.
He wanders inside from here to there.
Giving everything a sniff.
Mr Kitty the great furry explorer.
However down I feel,he soon lives my spirits.
The big,furry neighbour's cat.
