These Words

13.

These Words:

These words none can compare,
Shaking hands at College Graduation.
Inspiration
Encouragement overdue to Hear,
We're Proud and We Love You Son.

These words cannot Bring Justice,
Heinous Whispers to the Priest in Confidence.
Sacrament
Predator's Case Dismissed without Prejudice,
String of Lives Ruined, no consequence.

These words held no information,
POW's face catches no Breath.
Torture
Hidden Interrogation room, excruciation,
Ignoring rules, Dishonor before Death.

In vain these words fail to explain,
To the children on their Level.
Loss
As the windshield wipes the rain,
On the timeless drive to the funeral.

These words can't cut Loose,
Upon Hearing Her Lover's News.
Betrayal
The Swinging Body from the noose,
Revealing secret Rendezvous.
