In The Near Future

by Ridge   Sep 2, 2012

Can I kick this past behind you ?
Throw it out with those past few five years
Hook you up with a fortune teller
Lets rename this iron structure

Am I just too stubborn to hold on ?
Too cerebral leads to mass destruction
Perennial propelled product vs nuclear power
At twilight this place comes to back to normal

And I've never really tried to enlighten you
Please don't play me in disguise

Turn on the aero-compressor
Kumquat trees in galactic version
'Cause you see I've never told her
Level up that brand new sky and multicolors

Yes I know I've lost my chance to seize you
I'm not the kind of guy to give up on you

Weight it on a cardio tracker
Fill it in with salt and pepper
That pain, that bruise, that cut, that torn desire
This is why I've got to find her

Lay it on all over a broken mirror
Strengthen up your body language
Tragedy made of sour and stellar
Drifting into the fourth dimension

Yes I know I'm off your mind
Please remember I'm just a funny guy

It's tearing down the hybrid cultures
If it wasn't me I'd burned those trust meters
Rising from the ground it sweeps all over
Kind enough to let me admire these fictional creatures

All I want is you to stay one more semester
Maybe I could check you in and tell you what I was incapable of telling you earlier
