A Daughter's Love

by lost angel   Sep 4, 2012

Id rather lie in the arms of death
and breath my last breath.
Then to betray the ones i love.
Id let a bullet pass through my skull
and end me all at once.
Then to tell them
the things you've done.
You may not know this.
But everyday
I wish that you will change.
That you will be the father
that i wish you to be.
That you will no longer scream.
That you will no longer hit me.
And that you will no longer
stand aside and let him hurt me.
No you are not perfect.
No you are not a saint.
But you are my father.
And as a daughter
my love for you is uncondesionly.
No matter what the damage you have done.
No matter how many tears Ive shed.
No matter how many scars you leave me with.
