A life lesson

He raced towards me
pulling me into his chest
then his heartbeats started to calm my breath

I heard nothing but the sweet words
that he whispered in my ears
as his T-shirt kept wiping my tears

that's what he did, once upon a time
it's weird to remember it now
especially after he broke his vow

that gesture of love was just a fake one
how could I be so blind
in a time honesty is impossible to find

he took advantage of my weakest moment
promised me of love and care
and I believed him back then, I swear

yet I stand here now all alone
stronger then ever holding one thought
lessons are learned and cannot be bought.

    Sigh* Its hard for me to read these kind of writes because Ive been in them, Ive wrote stuff just like this and I know it pretty much sucks.

    I must say I like the

    Abb , Cdd, Eff kind of form rather than rhyming a whole stanza or rhyming every other line, this was kind of different and read different.
