Thunder Break

by Ridge   Sep 22, 2012

Pay a living until your last breath
The sudden rain clashes over the fens
Once ago we twain and laid back
Grey eyed girl with estranged man

Through clearness I see under the world's roof
As I sulk alone this afternoon
The Grey eyed girl turned me aloof
Soft-clad, glee-smile, shines like a muse

She got me down with the water flood
She got me stuck into the thunder break
Lord, can you feel the fragrance shake ?
Just tell me now, how can I reconnect ?

I'm sad, I'm wander while day waned apace
I'm a reborn shell upon the sea-strand
A scarlet thrush that strives up my brain
Grey eyed girl dies lonely on lush blades
And I'm still stuck into the thunder break
