Eyes really are a mystery. They speak many languages and give many messages at the same time.

The eyes are the mirror to the soul.
This is a great poem, strong and expressive is such a short piece. The eyes tell so much even when one tried to hide things, the eyes never lie..
Never have done a hiaku, probably never will but you are great at anything you try keep up the good work.

Ah how gorgeous is this! Looking into someone's eyes is a huge mystery, it's as if they speak their own language. I too wondered why you placed this under the love section, but I feel like it could fit in several. I really like the simplicity in this, it's beautiful :)

I really enjoyed this poem, generally when you read a haiku you don't expect them to be about love so I was a little surprised when I opened this up. It was a nice surprise however. A lot of people will tell you that a haiku is nature based and while I tend to agree this is fitting for a haiku as it also mentions features of nature such as the word 'dark'.

I love eyes and I truly believe you can tell a lot about someone from their eyes. Seeing as you placed this in the love section it could have a lot of different means. 1. You could be speaking of someone you're interested in knowing on an emotional level but haven't quite gotten to know hence the eyes of mystery. 2. This could be about a lover hiding something from you, lies, cheating etc. What I like about this is you keep the interpretation open for the reader.

The second line was powerful to me, it was almost as though you were saying that someone is regretting what they have done when they close their eyes because they see it all over again.

What a great poem! Again welcome to the club :)
