Battlefield

by MyHalozChokinMe   Oct 2, 2012

I hear two voices wrapped around each other;

Promises intertwined between entangled legs,

The ghosts of "could have beens" standing
by the bedside, like unwelcome strangers at the door.

The memories of old hopes-

The scent of vibrant spirits-

The taste of thick words-

Faint marks from previous lips-

Suitcases of previous disasters line the hallway
and this damaged soul hunts for it's match
on this battlefield called my heart.

    So deep Halo, it is sad to know you feel this and experience this emotion, but it takes feelings like this in order for us to become stronger.

    Beautifully sad... Nothing else I can really say... I'm speechless. 5/5
