Wilting Rose

by Jaymi Lynn   Oct 15, 2012

A wilting rose once poised with such elegance,
Now taken by hate hanging by loose threads.

Broken from heart and healed by prickly stem
The wilting rose will bloom from stubborn roots again.

What seemed a timeless beauty, always a
sight for eyes so sore, is now a withering muse
no longer loved, no longer pure.

But broken from heart and healed by prickly stem
the timeless beauty, the wilting rose
will bloom from stubborn roots again.

Really good poem. every rose (person) has a broken heart and we always bloom with time once we heal 5/5
