The Last Flower

by Whiskurz   Oct 16, 2012

I planted the worlds last flower
In the garden by the brook
Its beauty took my breath away
It only took one look

It's as precious as the finest gold
And jewels cannot compare
Nothing is quite as beautiful
As the flower I planted there

Its smell is like no other smell
That I have ever known
It's got to be God's pride and joy
The best He's ever sown

I covered this flower so carefully
As I placed it in the dirt
The tears I cried has quenched its thirst
But for me it only hurt

I planted the worlds last flower
Under skies of purest blue
It was hard for me to walk away
For the worlds last flower was you
