After You.

by Amanda Smith   Jun 30, 2004

I'm free
You're finally gone
I can be a lone now
I can be strong
I will move on
And start something new
I will move on
And finally leave you
Eight months of suffering
Eight months of wishing
Eight months of being a lone
And dreaming of you
Now I'm free
And feel great
No more dreaming
Of dreams that will never come true
No more making wishes,
Wishes about you
New boys,
New life,
A new me
After all the times I told myself
We would never be
I finally will believe it
I will finally let you go
I will finally forget you
I just wanna let you know
I'm no longer obsessing
No more staring at you
No more flipping to page 70
Just to look at you
I can truly say
That I am happier now,
Now that you're gone
I can finally move on
Finally I'm free
I've stopped loving you
And will finally leave you be
Eight months of waiting for this
Waiting for the end
Eight months of waiting
For a new thing to begin
Now its the end...
New things will start
Now I'm free of you
You're out of my heart...
