It Never Ends.

by Amanda Smith   Jun 27, 2006

At first they were just thoughts,
Images in my mind;
But then they played out,
And became a warning sign.
Then they seemed to dim,
After everyone knew;
And when they all forgot,
All the same things grew.
Every time I think I'm better,
Something always goes wrong;
Then I'm back where I began,
Making the cuts run long.
Then I played a scene,
Over in my head;
Go for a drive,
Get in an accident.
They really wouldn't know,
That it was all planned out;
They can blame it on whatever,
Leave behind the doubt.
I hate being a bother,
But I'm a bother to myself;
With everything that happens,
I want to leave behind this hell.
