Tonight

by Ridge   Oct 24, 2012

The bells strike the chord of sorrow tonight
Every day burns with pain turn to ashes
Far-off to the horizon waved some flicker of light
I'm plunged in a state of dream
My eyes are restless, I'm sick of seeing
My body, dawning in this vacuous abode of separation
Mixing the bitterness of the past and the poison of the present
No, no one there, perhaps a traveler on his way
The night runs and the dust of stars begins to scatter
Before you came things were just what they were
With you the world took on the spectrum
With your advent eyes burst into flame
Now you are here again, stay with me.
