Return

by Ridge   Oct 26, 2012

I remember you as you were
You used to like me in return
Now you've grown from the little girl
I used to share with my desert

Clasping my arms like a climbing plant
This is the feeling I'm all in crave
Bonfire of awe in which my thirst was burning
Time's running up on me to ask you out

I see you go travelling
Towards which my deep longings migrated
And my heart melt happy as embers
Don't forget me I hope you'll return

Hop on the ship, directing to the ocean
My memory is hit by light and hope
Beyond this day I see a bright future
Because I know you will return
