The Despair Song

by Ridge   Oct 27, 2012

There we turn around the law clerk with a cut lily
Trying to get rid of misery
It's a possibility
If not we'll all die of grief

It's so sad to be alone...to be a lone man
When I walk into tailorshops and movie houses...I feel like I'm off that

The only thing I want is to lie still like stones or wool...design my own brand
Still it would be marvelous...to see I'm a grown man

I stroll along serenely..with my convict face
I walk by, going through office buildings...it makes me ill

All the parks that are raised to the ground...it's a tragedy
The night wind revolves in the sky the wind is singing

To the solemn sea, the sea ladies
Come with their shawls knotted around their knees

There we turn around the law clerk with a cut lily
Trying to get rid of misery
It's a possibility
If not we'll all die of grief

Wow! This got me thinking actually. It got my senses in a spot to comprehend your message.

I see an unfulfilled subject trying to walk through a despairing circumstance. Feeling despondent and seeking for a quintessence to flourish on. At times one goes through despicable and unfortunate travails that gets us asking questions. Getting subjected to feeling pessimistic and nursing our agony.

We want to start a means of livelihood but all to no avail. One gets stuck without no means of capital, ideas or a drive to carry on. At such vagueness is our threshold of badluck. I believe this is a sign of calamities, that need to be pondered deeply about. With precaution and well thought out plans and strategies, one can pick up the ladder and climb ahead to greater heights.
A beautifully sad but hopeful poem.
    Bravo!
