Dear Lucero

by Blood of a Lion   Nov 4, 2012

Lucero's echoing and the musing for the day and its eve,
For ne'er before has there been a star gazing as eloquent as the dream upon Lucero,
A star that shoots and burns at the nights sky may only live for a short time,
But do not the people themselves wish upon a shooting star?
O' naive and bewildered couple is thee.
For Lucero is the shining star to be...
Dearest Lucero.
The muse to the seasons dreary day of somber winter encased in most distant moonlight,
A beginning to a winters new season and a chill to encase the bone.
But cold perserves the bitterest of souls through all its mortal seasons,
And so the distant and yonder o' behold the star known as Lucero.
The shining beam that dances over all distant dreams as one fell night.

You know this is going to my all time favorites This is more than I expected, actually, I was not expecting it. I usually talk about the content of a poem or critique it but this time, I'm really without words.

Thank you! I am still looking at the donut.
