So We See

The days are short and the time is drawn to a close

Everything ends,
everything closes and ceases,
what once lasted forever is no more but ashes
forevermore, the dream is ended and chosen to end.
The end like summer is swift and unceremonious.
So is death and all that it takes.
For as the day ends, another begins without you.
