Gone

by Raven   Nov 4, 2012

As i sat down,
to drink my tea,
you went around,
washing those tables,
i felt your eyes, burning onto my skin,
but i refuse to look up,
into the regret you share with me.

I remember every word you spoke,
i believed them all,
i wish i had the courage,
to give you that one call,
but i'm scared of rejection,
don't you see?

Those beautiful green eyes,
i wouldn't let look at mine,
scared they'll read,
every one of my hearts beats.

But you're gone,
where'd you go?
Don't you know you were everything to me?
and my heart still bleeds,
hoping you'll find your way back,
back to me.

Just one more time please,
let our lips meet,
then i swear, i'll finally leave.

I really loved this poem! It's pretty good!
You can defiantly feel that there is something between you and that other person and that you want them. Just for at least one more time.

    Good job
