My tissues (Acrostic)

by Wafaa   Nov 6, 2012

Morning rises, cheeks dried out.
Youth wasted in between the tears.

Together, we've always been.
I lean on you, through this pain and
sorrow, to heal my heartbreaks
softly, and to raise my chin
up. I count on you to help
erase every cold teardrop
smoothly, until they're all gone.

So I voted for this one to win, because I really liked the relationship between you and the tissues, it is one that no matter what we have been through we can all relate to this as we all have been there and relied on them to wipe the tears.

Really liked your take on the challenge, well done.

You know Sonia... my tissues have helped me many times.. they are comfort... they are like an elegant floating feather that swoops along and dries the tears away... this poem is comforting as well... beautiful!
