Illumination

by Polaroid   Nov 18, 2012

The truth about my strangled existence
In this place where I have become lost
Its discovery, needing to be spoken of...

Leaving, missing, moving on, loving again
the expected sequential order of my life.
Yet the order is rifted

For I still long for the things I left behind
And my heart hurts for wanting
He is all I think of...

Since the moment we met
There were forces involved,
forces more powerful than any interference.

They say that love is driven by fate;
The universe by balance.
Our lives nothing more than reactions to each.

I relive every moment of us in my dreams
The illumination of our paths diverging,
...I try to change them...cannot

The strength of passing time
has failed to dissintigrate
any truth about the past.

Every person in this life is bound to another.
I have lost mine.
But have not stopped loving him.

What matters to one, he keeps close. When the sun sets, the moon rises.
