Eyes of truth (for my son)

by Jani   Nov 23, 2012

Big eyes so blue look at you
crystal clear, lies they shear
half-truths hidden jump out unbidden
dissected by love as pure as the white dove
discarded, unnecessary, wholly accessory
empty spicing, served with tacky icing
communicating with all, not segregating
accepting everything and hiding nothing
face value over surplus residue
you give, you get, there is no preset
no pretense with lengthy evidence
no masked clues subject to misuse
just the truth with all the innocence of youth
