This is my last poem venting my sadness and pain within
It's time to move on from this stagnant point in my life and let a new chapter begin
You will always be the someone I loved and with whom I shared so much
I always stopped myself from moving on entirely, you see, you are my crutch
That can't happen anymore, I must push past this waiting around
I have to make myself get out and do things so Im not feeling so down
You have had no problem moving on
And I needed to realized that its over for good and you are gone.
Old habits are hard to break and reality has set in lately and now I'm awake
Goodbye my only lover and childhood sweetheart, you've been all I've ever known and with me from the start
Im so scared and nervous to be without you but its time to get on with my life
Goodbye my husband
Say goodbye to your faithful wife
