Introspection

by Edgar Jones   Dec 5, 2012

I wonder what truly happens
The instant we leave this earth
Do we make all of our amends?
From that moment of birth
Our biggest challenge is time
Ticking away with tenacity
Unfortunately our bind
Will we live to full capacity?
The complexity of this life
And all of its intricacies
Can't be replicated twice
Or its beautiful delicacies
Genuine moments we cherish
In the banks of our mind
Our light will soon diminish
Don't look back, it's time
