The Life

by John   Dec 9, 2012

The Things I do may not fall into place.
The Things I say might as well be carried into the wind.
The Things I run into, might as well fall on me.

As the sunsets, Might as well lay with it.
As the Night Raises, Watch the stars fall.
As the Wind blows, Might as well get up,

Running into the wind is hard.
Keep getting push back,
I keep on trying.

These bones won't last for long, Might as well enjoy life before the sunsets for the last time for me. Might as well look at the sky and put a smile on my face.

I really enjoyed this poem. It took me a moment to realize what the poem was actually saying. A great sign of penmanship!!!!!! 5/5 <3
