We All Stand On The Sidelines

by Love Hurts   Dec 10, 2012

There is this girl, so broken up inside.
Her family feeds her lies.
And yet, she does not cry.
Boys use her abuseingly for there own pleasure.
But no one knows, or tells her why.
She looks at the world, with blank eyes.
Only seeing the nasty things that float by.
She's so cold inside, thoughts of dying cross her mind.
Will someone tell her this is not true!
She's is dieing inside, yet all refuse.
To tell her the truth.
There is light in this world, and so little dark.
If only someone would speak up, you can tell she's broken by her attitude and blank eyes.
Say a kind word, be her friend!
Before she gives up, makes her own end.
But we all stand aside, ignoring her silent cry's.
Go to the grave now, you'll see the girl who died.
Her eyes sealed shut for ever, complexion cold and tinted blue.
Breaths no longer passes through her stiff lips, look what we do!
She took her own life, not willing to fight the loneliness that has overcome her.
Just a simple kind act, would have changed her life.
And yet, we all stood on the sidelines.
